Sunday And Watermelon Craze
as usual, on sundays, we’d be at my grandma’s. this little pixie got everyone’s attention, of course, grabbing her and getting her to walk, which she couldn’t. i thought i’d just let them do what they wanted, it’s not as if they got to meet her everyday. but the fact that they seemed to be ignorant of what my abilities were in handling my preemie daughter, pissed me even more!
anyway, hubby gave her a triangular piece of watermelon, pricked on tiny little picks. i was VERY worried that she might get pricked but hubby seemed cool about it. i watched her every move and every bite she took, making sure that she was okay. and so she was okay!
she did a good job in not pricking her own tongue or lips. *phew* she even gave a very cheeky smile, teasing everyone around her, who got worried. i think my baby girl has grown up. she’s a big girl now and she seemed to know what she can or cannot do.
