Pixie’s Occupational Therapy

P8200028 she enjoyed the first session of OT because it involved toys that helped to get her brain juice increased and flowing πŸ™‚ she was coping well and, surprisingly, very cooperative. she was taught some ’cause and effect’ activities. she knew how to grab a toy but didn’t want to let go or willingly pass it to anyone. so OT Alicia taught her. when she took a cube, Alicia showed her how to drop it into a cup. my little pixie tried doing it! she picked a cube, brought it over to the cup…but didn’t want to drop it. instead, she wanted to grab the one inside the cup! it went on and on for about 10 minutes.

P8200029 she was given some beads and Alicia placed them into the holes in the wooden board. the purpose was to make her use her pointer. see, she automatically knew what to do! according to Alicia, after some observations, Fateha’s development was equivalent to a 10 month old. and she also mentioned that her cognitive development seemed good enough, since she understood what she was needed to do.
