we’re still waiting for Fateha’s teacher to provide us with her session’s schedule. i especially want to know WHEN she will be getting her dose of speech therapy. according to her teacher (and all the doctors from the hospital), Fateha has a speech delay, which i have already know.
we also get numerous notes and feedback in her communication book, saying this and that of what can be done to improve her speech and we must constantly talk to her. blah blah blah blah blah…i’m sick and tired. what makes them and everyone think we’re not doing anything?
wait! does that make me sound like an impatient-petty-nasty-no nonsense parent of a student (like the ones i face everyday at work)? i hope not. i have been the nicest-easy going-understanding parent Fateha’s teacher could ask for. *slaps forehead*
so far, what we have been informed of, Fateha will be scheduled to see the speech therapist next wednesday. and we were told to pack chewy food for her eg. noodles with pieces of chicken meat and some chewy gummy. this dear girl of mine will eat ANYTHING we placed in front of her.
we’ll keep our fingers crossed, that nothing bad or heart-wrenching evaluation shall be written by the The Rapist.
errr..i mean therapist.
