she is still in need of some physical support to stand up straight. these days i make her stand for almost everything. from showering to putting on her clothes and even to stand while playing. is that cruel? haha. i don’t care because i want her to. and since this little imp of mine is extra active, she doesn’t mind standing at all.
whenever we are out, i’d find any structure that Fateha could hold on to and…yes, to stand. what else, huh? i’m not giving up just yet. i know that her physiotherapists are teaching me methods and exercises to help her and expecting me to follow religiously, i also like to take things into my own hands, using my own methods. i don’t know. could it be due to my career path in the education system?
i can do it, i can!!!
she’s enjoying every upright activity that she’s been forced to do i get her to do. at times, she’d test my alertness by trying to reach for greater heights, which are far more difficult than what she could afford to do. though she wobbles many times and almost loses her grip and balance, Fateha has yet to fall embarrassingly in public.
