a glimmer of hope

so our hospital visit today with the Head of Neurology (Paeds) went well! I was nervous initially because the last we saw the doctors was exactly a year ago, when it should have been 6 months after her first Botox treatment. *gasp*

But Prof Ong was nice enough. Seeing the way Fateha walked into his room made him happy. I couldn’t see much difference though but he was, of course, the professional one. *hats off* he went on telling us Botox was not needed at the moment ’cause he wanted to see her at the Rehab Clinic next month, where he’d be testing Fateha walking with an aid. Not the kaye walker that she was used to. More like a walking stick.

I was relieved and smiled all the way out. Thanks to Prof Ong for giving me some hopes that I do not need to be holding Fateha all the time. If she can use the stick to walk, yea so be it.

Bring it on!!
